Are You Team Swicy or Team Umami? Introducing Shake Shack’s Korean Gochujang Limited Time Only Menu

We’re turning up our gochu game with our brand-new, limited-time-only menu. Available from Tuesday, the 8th of July to Wednesday, the 24th of September.

This Korean-inspired lineup is all about a balance of sweet, spicy, and umami goodness. And at the heart of it all? Gochujang, Korea’s go-to fermented chilli paste, blended with garlic, ginger and a whole lot of magic. This one is for the chicken lovers, but which team are you on?

Team Swicy: Where sweet meets heat

The Gochujang Chicken Burger features our crispy, 100% chicken breast glazed in a fiery, sweet gochujang sauce, topped with our crunchy white kimchi slaw, and toasted sesame seeds. It’s our sweet, spicy, tangy ode to Seoul’s fried chicken scene, all wrapped up in our perfectly squidgy potato bun.

Team Umami: Where deep flavour reigns

Or maybe you dare to go rich and bold. The Korean BBQ Burger features our juicy, 100% Aberdeen Angus cheeseburger, beer-marinated crispy shallots, fresh spring onions, and a sticky Korean BBQ sauce, giving you the full umami experience. These are smoky, bold, and rich flavours you don’t want to miss out on.

Sides with Seoul

Every burger needs a sidekick, and what better side than our Gochujang Chicken Bites? Crispy, golden, and slathered in spicy-sweet gochujang, topped with toasted sesame seeds and served with creamy, gochujang mayo on the side. Pop one in your mouth between burger bites or polish them off solo, no judgement here.😅

Or pair your burger with our Gochujang Fries, and yes, they’re as extra as they sound. Our iconic crinkle cut fries, loaded with creamy gochujang mayo, crispy diced bacon, Korean chilli flakes and fresh spring onions. Smoky, spicy, and seriously good.

A Matcha Made in Heaven

Our hand-spun Matcha Cookies & Cream Shake blends our rich and creamy vanilla custard with earthy matcha powder and vanilla cream cookies, topped with whipped cream and crushed cookies. A matcha made in heaven!

Consider our Strawberry Yuzu Lemonade your new favourite summer refresher. Featuring sweet strawberries and zesty yuzu in a Shack lemonade remix that’s tangy, bright, and refreshing.
